After Covid: ‘I’ve blood clots and a braced leg, but I’m home’

After contracting Covid-19, my journey has been challenging to say the least. The virus left me with blood clots in my lungs, requiring medication and close monitoring by medical professionals.

Additionally, I sustained an injury to my leg during my battle with the virus, resulting in the need for a braced leg for support as I continue to recover at home.

Despite these setbacks, I am grateful to be back in the comfort of my own home surrounded by loved ones who have been my rock throughout this difficult time.

Recovery is a slow and steady process, but with the support of my healthcare team and the unwavering love and care of my family, I am confident that I will overcome these challenges.

Each day brings new hurdles to overcome, but I am determined to focus on the positives and celebrate even the smallest victories in my recovery journey.

Though the road ahead may be long and uncertain, I am filled with hope and resilience as I navigate the aftermath of Covid-19 and work towards regaining my strength and health.

I am grateful for the kindness and support I have received from friends, family, and healthcare professionals throughout this challenging time, and I know that I am not alone in this journey.

With determination and a positive mindset, I know that I will emerge from this experience stronger and more resilient than before, grateful for the lessons learned and the strength gained along the way.

My battle with Covid-19 may have left me with physical scars, but it has also given me a newfound appreciation for life and the importance of cherishing every moment with those we hold dear.

As I continue to heal and rebuild my strength, I am reminded of the power of resilience and the human spirit, and I am grateful for the opportunity to share my story of hope and renewal with others who may be facing similar challenges.
